That statement is not true because if one turned and believed in Jesus Christ he or she would be saved and their disbelief would be pardoned. The poor souls that wrote that blog have no understanding of Who and What Jesus Christ is. They have ignored John 1: 1-3. As to Jesus not being here, Jesus Christ is God and to my knowledge He is still alive and well. The Holy Spirit is eternal and if you go to Matthew instead of just Mark you will see where Jesus says, "Anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come." So yes, the unpardonable sin can be committed today. So why is the sin "unpardonable"? To understand the sin you must begin to understand the Holy Spirit and that is no easy task. In the Secret Book of John the Holy Spirit came about because she is God's Awareness of Himself. However, She is much more than just the Awareness of God, She is the Spirit of God and therefore the Spirit of His Word too. In law we often speak of the words or the law and then we speak of the "spirit of the law" or the meaning behind the law. When you say that the spirit behind the law is bad, you are saying that the persons who passed the law did so with evil intent. So when you blaspheme the Holy Spirit of God you are saying that God is evil and God, Himself in Isaiah 5 tells us, Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet

In the spiritual realm you are condemned for all eternity because once there you have no compass to tell you how to get back and the Light has completely left you. You spend eternity in darkness cursing everything including yourself. Personally I wish to stay so far away from Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit that I never say the Holy Spirit guided me, or the Holy Spirit inspired me, or anything about the Holy Spirit. Why? Because if the Holy Spirit did that I am fine but; if perchance, the Holy Spirit did not do it, then am I not using Her name in vain.
