11/03/09  When won't it be cool to be Christian.

You may not remember this but at one time in the United States it was not only cool but normal to smoke. The advertising in the 1950s even included claims that the majority of Doctors smoked one brand or another. Almost everyone smoked unless you were allergic to tobacco. If you didn't smoke there had to be something wrong with you. Most of the advertising seemed to be for cigarettes. Tobacco was cheap and plentiful and the taxes were low because they made it up on volume. Our culture didn't revolve around tobacco, but tobacco was a major impact on life.

Now, just 40 to 50 years later, smokers are the outcasts. Smoking has been outlawed by regulations, ordinances, and laws. There are fines and charges for smokers who light up in the wrong place, smoke in hotels and other public places. People who smoke reek of the odor and everyone seems to notice it. You find smokers segregated into small pockets of people who eat, drink, take breaks, work, and play together. It just isn't cool to smoke anymore.

Well, that was the test run. It didn't happen overnight, it was a persistent growing trend against smoking. It was banned in stages, for instance, on airline flights the first ban was on short flights because smokers surely could go without for an hour. Then smokers were relegated to the back of the plane. Then the bans became longer with two hour and then four hour flights being smoke free.  And cigars and pipe were totally outlawed way before cigarettes. Does anyone smoke a pipe anymore?  Smoking was being pushed out of our lives slowly, steadily, and relentlessly.

Oh, yes, that is right, cigarettes cause all sorts of diseases. We have more and more medical studies showing how smoke kills. Now, even second hand smoke is said to kill. The public is almost hysterical in some cases and recently there was reported neighbors who are suing because the smoke from next door is wafting toward their house causing them discomfort. However, if you remember just a moment ago I told you about advertisements claiming the majority of Doctors smoked one or another brands; well not only was that true but there was a lot of research done that said smoking was perfectly all right. Yes, there are studies and surveys and papers written before the big push to eliminate smoking that would more than offset those done afterward - At least by weight of the paper. Now, though today's scientists and doctors would say the studies were flawed, fakes, and fraud by the tobacco companies.

It worked we are SMOKE FREE!

Now, look around because it is now happening again. The same left wing group wants to make society free from religion. They have come up with a twisted interpretation of our Constitution that alleges "separation of church and state".  Now this is being morphed into a separation of God and State. The Constitution has no such provision. It has a clause that prohibits the government from "establishing" a church.  Our forefathers wrote that into the Constitution to guard against two things, they did not want a "Church of America" like the British had a "Church of England".  They also did not want anyone to rule by "Divine Right".  This was especially true of when the church gave its imprimatur to kings and noblemen to rule as being their divine right from God.

Today, the ACLU and some Atheists are pushing for there to be no religion demonstrated in our society where there exists any taxpayer money. Our children can't even say a prayer before a football game. A judge in Alabama is not allowed to display the Ten Commandments in the courthouse; even though if they were obeyed they'd eliminate the need for a lot of the laws we have today. A cross honoring veterans is before the Supreme Court because it is on public land.

Our Supreme Court have been corrupted to where they cannot read the Constitution and interpret it correctly. They do not seem to understand the difference between "establish" and "keep separate". Look, Look, see what our forefathers said and did and see their monuments fraught with religious symbols! Judeo-Christian values and morals are what this country is based on.  The Court has mistakenly ruled that if it is "historical" it can stay, but if religious it must go. What poppy-cock, Mr. Justice.

We have seen the war on Christmas, the war on everything Christian. The war against teaching Creationism next to Evolution in our schools. The war on prayer. What next?  They will be attacking the tax exempt status of our churches and this has already begun with the IRS being able to revoke tax exempt status if you politic from the pulpit.  In some places teachers are not allowed to wear a Cross, Star of David, or other religious symbol in front of their class. 

WAKE UP AMERICA!!! IT HAS ALREADY BEGUN AND UNLESS YOU UNITE AND PUSH BACK AND ELECT PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE LIKE YOU DO, IT WON'T BE COOL TO CHRISTIAN IN ABOUT 20 YEARS.  After all it won't take as long as smoking, because now they know how to do it.    

If you think that this is limited to the United States, be advised that the European Court of Human Rights has just ruled that crosses cannot be displayed in classrooms in Italy where it has been a custom for more than a thousand years. All this to accommodate Atheists, Muslims, and a few others.

So you ask, what propels these movements? Well, we know there is no "Grand Conspiracy," but we also know that looking back they are masterfully coordinated. So, you tell me? What are we seeing?
